The Local Peddler provides a user-friendly interface to make posting your classified ad simple and fun.

1.)  Click on the Place Ads link located on the top navigation bar.

2.)  Click on the category in which you would like to place your ad. This page looks very similar to the overall front page of the classifieds. To increase the success of your ad and to maintain the functional integrity of The Local Peddler be sure to place your ad in the proper category.  For more helpful information on placing great classified ads please see our section entitled “Rates & Tips”.

3.)  Log on to the system by entering your user name and password.  If you have not yet registered click on “register for a new account”.  Registering for an account is quick, simple and free.

4.)  You will then see the Ad Posting Form.  Required fields are denoted by an asterisk.   Please note that you do have the option of using a nickname as opposed to your real name when placing a new ad. Enter all of the relevant information  for your new ad and click the preview button.  If  you would like to make any changes to your ad use the back button on your web browser to go back to the ad posting form.  Otherwise, if you are satisfied with the appearance of your ad, click on the post ad button. If your ad is successfully posted, the system will display a success notification page. Also on this page you will be given the opportunity to upload  a photo to your ad.  Posting a photo with your ad greatly increases the success of your ad.  You will be able to upload  a total of three photos to your ad.  To upload additional photos to your ad click on the Edit Ads link located on the top of the navigation bar. Click on the category where the ad is located. Click on the Add/Edit Multimedia Files and follow the online instructions.
